STS Perioperative & Critical Care Conference Resident Scholarship
The Resident Scholarship for the STS Perioperative & Critical Care Conference allows CT Surgery residents and general surgery residents to learn the latest techniques and management strategies in cardiovascular and thoracic critical care and enhanced recovery after surgery for the entire care team. CT surgery residents and General Surgery residents from the U.S. and Canada are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The scholarship covers course registration fees, two nights' lodging at the host hotel, and a stipend to defray the cost of travel and meals.

Course Description
Attendees of the 2024 STS Perioperative & Critical Care Conference will explore the latest techniques and management strategies in cardiovascular and thoracic (CVT) critical care and enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS). This two-day event features dynamic and interactive presentations, hands-on demonstrations, scientific abstracts, and expert panel discussions designed for all members of the CVT perioperative and critical care team. Eligibility
CT surgery residents enrolled in an ACGME-approved program in the U.S. or Canada, and General Surgery residents enrolled in an accredited program in the U.S. or Canada are eligible to apply.
Award Amount
This award is valued at $2,000. The scholarship covers course registration fees, two nights lodging at the host hotel, and a stipend to defray the cost of travel and meals.
